Sasihitlu Beach – The Pristine Beach on Western Coast!

Sasihitlu beach is one of the most beautiful beach with great views. Two rivers namely Shambhavi and Pavanje (Nandini) get merged with the Arabia Sea. It is surrounded by backwaters of this rivers and provides a great view for the visitors. This beach has a very good stretch of sand where you can play, walk and have a family picnic. This beach provides with naturally and sandy stretch backed by mangrove trees. This beach is surrounded by the rivers Shambhavi and Nandini on one side and the Arabian Sea on the other side making the place an outstanding spot.

Also known as Daibittil beach it is located in Sasihithlu village situated to the north of Mangalore city in Karnataka. It is approximate 6 kms to the west of National Highway 66 and 24 kms away from Mangalore Railway Station, surrounded by the backwaters of Shambhavi and Pavanje rivers. This beach situated towards Udupi is a very clean beach and stretches for about 2 kms in length, with stunning white sand adding to it this beautiful location to be admired by everyone alike!

Family and children can enjoy this excellent beach, people who like nature would love to spend their time in peaceful and relaxed manner by sitting on the beachside waters. It would a really sit to see the beautiful sunset at this beach. The beach was opened for surfing in the year 2016 and 2017. This beach is well connected by public transport from in and around various cities.

Make sure to pack right choice of clothes (cotton clothes would be better) and footwears or floaters which are perfect to walk along side the seashore. Carry with enough water and water bottles to refill when required.
